We felt welcomed and were given information. We also provided the information to the bank (income/expenses, bank balances, etc.) Sounds like they are interested in making a loan with us. There is a loan committee what would make the decision but it looks good. General guidelines are they will lend 75% of the purchase price or appraisal (whichever is less) interest rate of 7 - 7 3/4%, treated as a commercial account, could use an adjustable rate mortgage. The loan discussed would be a 15-year mortgage with a 5-year balloon. They need a series of information from us to move forward with the purchase. One of the things they want to see is a fundraising timeline, pledge card, etc. as what we plan to raise for the land purchase. Another option if our income to loan balance is too low. One is using udaho and kawashaway as combined collateral. Another option is to get a private cosigner on the loan. Braeburn brought up the point of shopping around for another rate at another bank (another point of view). Also, research is necessary as to if there is other land available on our lake that can be purchased. Also, finding out how much the original land purchases went for. FundraisingLaunch of Fundraising drive on Sept 19, 2009. More information to come via snail mail and the web. AuctionWe have auction items. Thunder offered to be auctioneer. Live auction/pre-garage sale format discussed. Thunder and Rocky will decide which format is most appropriate for the auction items available.
