Stewards Pledge

All Faeries who have freely chosen to identify themselves as a Steward of Kawashaway Sanctuary and the Northwoods Radical Faeries are asked yearly to make a written commitment for the land, the organization, and the community, and to send this to the Stewards for safe keeping in our archives.

This commitment of time, treasure and decision-making, done yearly, is for the improvement, maintenance, financial well being and general upkeep of Kawashaway Sanctuary and its community. More important, however, this written commitment is a real reminder for each individual Steward to follow through in helping to maintain and improve this beautiful, spirit-filled, no-place-between, as well as its community, that we have fallen in love with.

Below is a form you can easily fill out and send in, or you can simply write up your own in your own hand and style.

Stewards (As Defined in the Bi-laws of Kawashaway Sanctuary)

The Stewards, as a group, are the governing body of the Sanctuary and its community. An individual Steward takes responsibility for the land, the organization, and the community of Kawashaway members, and for helping to connect us to the wider faerie community.

Stewards do the above by meeting these three basic expectations:

  1. A steward gives time and energy toward maintaining the Sanctuary--either by working on the land or by working within the organization.
  2. A steward participates in decision-making by attending at least two of every four Kawashaway Circles.
  3. A steward makes a financial contribution to the Sanctuary, according to their own ability.

I, (Faerie Name) _____________________________, as a Steward of Kawashaway Sanctuary and the Northwoods Radical Faeries agree to give my time and energy to the Sanctuary and its community by:

I agree to participate in the decision making of the Sanctuary and its community by attending at least half of all Kawashaway Circles.

My financial contribution as I am able will be:

Other things I may do for Kawashaway Sanctuary and its community are:

Signed:
